BCAS Periop Emergencies: SIM-Based Approach to Resuscitation: Focus on Airways Workshop

  • Hope Centre adjacent to Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver, BC
  • Accreditation: MOC Section 3. It provides 8 hours of Royal College Section 3 credits worth 24 points and, for our FPA participants, 8 hours of CFPC Mainpro+ credits. It also satisfies the BC College’s emergency airway training requirement for anesthesiologists in a non-hospital setting.
This session will present an assortment of airway scenarios that we will tackle together.  We are excited to run another full-day airway simulation workshop. After all, airways are what we do best!! Our workshops are fun and low key, intended to reinforce best practice in a supportive and non-judgmental environment. While the course has an airway focus, it will touch on all aspects of anesthesia practice.
